Caverns and Bats

Monday was a beautiful sunny day in Louisville.  After a leisurely morning, we all went to the Louisville Mega Caverns.  None of us had ever been there, very cool (literally -- 58 degrees year round).  Pretty neat experience.  You should go if you get the chance!  Here are some pix:

A lot of the cavern space is under the Louisville Zoo

eating a worm!!!  (OK, it's a gummi worm, but sure fooled me!)

Waiting patiently for the kids to pick things out from the gift shop.

Later in the day, some of us went into town to look at some 'bats' -- that is, baseball bats at the Louisville Slugger Museum.  And, yes, you can park a 30' RV downtown!  Here are some pix from that adventure (they didn't allow cameras inside the actual tour):

The rest of the day was very relaxing as we just 'hung out' and did whatever... we also celebrated Liz's up-coming birthday and had some yummy cake.
